The Quake

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

1  When the earth is shaken with its quake.

٢  وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا

2  And the earth brings out its loads.

٣  وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا

3  And man says, "What is the matter with it?"

٤  يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا

4  On that Day, it will tell its tales.

٥  بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا

5  For your Lord will have inspired it.

٦  يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ

6  On that Day, the people will emerge in droves, to be shown their works.

٧  فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ

7  Whoever has done an atom's weight of good will see it.

٨  وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ

8  And whoever has done an atom's weight of evil will see it.

quran suras98 Clear Evidence

Clear Evidence

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنْفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

1  Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, and the Polytheists, were not apart, until the Clear Evidence came to them.

٢  رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُطَهَّرَةً

2  A messenger from Allah reciting purified scripts.

٣  فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ

3  In them are valuable writings.

٤  وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

4  Those who were given the Scripture did not splinter, except after the Clear Evidence came to them.

٥  وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ

5  They were commanded only to worship Allah, devoting their faith to Him alone, and to practice regular prayer, and to give alms. That is the upright religion.

٦  إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ

6  Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture, and the Polytheists, will be in the Fire of Hell, where they will abide forever. These are the worst of creatures.

٧  إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ

7  As for those who believe and lead a righteous life—these are the best of creatures.

٨  جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ

8  Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eternity beneath which rivers flow, where they will abide forever. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. That is for whoever fears His Lord.

quarn suras97 Decree

Decree

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

1  We sent it down on the Night of Decree.

٢  وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ

2  But what will convey to you what the Night of Decree is?

٣  لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

3  The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

٤  تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

4  In it descend the angels and the Spirit, by the leave of their Lord, with every command.

٥  سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

5  Peace it is; until the rise of dawn.

quran suras 96 Clot

Clot

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

1  Read: In the Name of your Lord who created.

٢  خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ

2  Created man from a clot.

٣  اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ

3  Read: And your Lord is the Most Generous.

٤  الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ

4  He who taught by the pen.

٥  عَلَّمَ الْإِنْسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

5  Taught man what he never knew.

٦  كَلَّا إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَيَطْغَىٰ

6  In fact, man oversteps all bounds.

٧  أَنْ رَآهُ اسْتَغْنَىٰ

7  When he considers himself exempt.

٨  إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الرُّجْعَىٰ

8  But to your Lord is the return.

٩  أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يَنْهَىٰ

9  Have you seen him who prevents?

١٠  عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰ

10  A servant when he prays?

١١  أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ

11  Do you think he is upon guidance?

١٢  أَوْ أَمَرَ بِالتَّقْوَىٰ

12  Or advocates righteousness?

١٣  أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

13  Do you see how he disbelieved and turned away?

١٤  أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَرَىٰ

14  Does he not know that Allah sees?

١٥  كَلَّا لَئِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًا بِالنَّاصِيَةِ

15  No. If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock.

١٦  نَاصِيَةٍ كَاذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ

16  A deceitful, sinful forelock.

١٧  فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُ

17  Let him call on his gang.

١٨  سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ

18  We will call the Guards.

١٩  كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ ۩

19  No, do not obey him; but kneel down, and come near.

Clot

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

1  Read: In the Name of your Lord who created.

٢  خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ

2  Created man from a clot.

٣  اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ

3  Read: And your Lord is the Most Generous.

٤  الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ

quran suras 95 The Fig

The Fig

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ

1  By the fig and the olive.

٢  وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

2  And Mount Sinai.

٣  وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ

3  And this safe land.

٤  لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

4  We created man in the best design.

٥  ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ

5  Then reduced him to the lowest of the low.

٦  إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

6  Except those who believe and do righteous deeds; for them is a reward without end.

٧  فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ

7  So why do you still reject the religion?

٨  أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ

8  Is Allah not the Wisest of the wise?

quran suras 94 The Soothing بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

The Soothing

 بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

١  أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ

1  Did We not soothe your heart?

٢  وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ

2  And lift from you your burden.

٣  الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ

3  Which weighed down your back?

٤  وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

4  And raised for you your reputation?

٥  فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

5  With hardship comes ease.

٦  إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

6  With hardship comes ease.

٧  فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ

7  When your work is done, turn to devotion.

٨  وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ

8  And to your Lord turn for everything.
